• Man’s Toupee, An Indispensible Prop

Who knows that seamless hair enjoys a high popularity among celebrities, especially those who have thin hair or completely to be a bald. To act as character successfully, they usually choose to put on man’s toupee .Sometimes, it’s so embarrassing to wear it , in a hot summer.

Movie icon Charlton Heston has experienced this terrible situation due to his thinning hair . In A Man For All Seasons he wore two pre glued hair on stage , according to Star Trek’s George Takei.

Takei says, “There was another actor that wore two helmets in a play on the West End at the Savoy Theatre as matter of a fact, an American… Charlton Heston was as bald as a billiard ball, so he wore a hairpiece, a toupee – and he didn’t like to reveal that fact. So he came in to the theatre with man’s toupeeon, he was doing A Man For All Seasons… so on top of his toupee he’d put the Sir Thomas More wigs on, can you imagine how hot it was? Two wigs on: His toupee and that full head of hair.”

How embarrassing it is for them to be with a pre glued hair in the set. I think it must be a funny source for other actors.
